What to do if you are injured

When railroaders are injured keep in mind the following rules: (1) Get the names and addresses of all persons who saw the accident. (2) Report the accident and injury to your Union. (3) Do not make or sign any statement. (4) Know your rights. Do not accept the railroad's advice or decision as to how much money you are entitled to receive. (5) Consult your lawyer.
